October’s Skull
springs from a tree
long dead
the moon
kicks my stomach
in the mid-western sun.
A Dancing Girl in the Garden of Eden
words falling from her mouth
her big eyes
like drunk christmas trees
the birth of her body
catching the sunlight
pale-faced
& small
vibrating
in the air.
The Panorama of Her Fingers
her tiny body
waist deep in water
an orange blossom
falling into the sun
her soul dangles
her red hair burns.
