Well everyone… I have spoken in the past about how much impspired is there to support the writers that work with us.
This month the support has nearly all been for me. This latest outpouring of talent is coming to you from The Royal Papworth transplant hospital, Cambridge. This is the hospital I have been living in now for 6 weeks and will continue to live in until a suitable donor heart is found. As you can imagine, this is not great news all round! However, amid the blood tests and procedures, the 14-hour dopamine, the excellent healthcare and the video calls home, Impspired has been my salvation. Occupying my mind and filling my days with meaningful endeavor.
Reading these submissions has made a trying month and some not only bearable, but, dare I say enjoyable!
