India visited on June 5 th
some year long ago says
the yellowed wrinkled newspaper clipping
found wadded up on the
floor the date and the
name of the paper missing
on the back is a
story about pen pals in
England meeting in Lebanon, that
could be the city in
Tennessee but the article on
the front about the puppets
intricate and ancient art form
representing distinct tradition and form
found in three separate parts
of India is far more
intriguing but probably not why
this clipping was even cut
out.
