Carole Farnan

Carole Farnan’s work has appeared in journals including A New Ulster, Corncrake, The Bangor Literary Journal and The Honest Ulsterman. Stephen Hawking’s Party featured on Belfast’s Poetry Jukebox (2021) and House of the Spirits won the An Cúlturlann Poetry Prize (2021). Jimmy Milliken

Jimmy Milliken grew up in Northern Ireland but spent much of his adult life in the Shetland Islands. He currently lives near Ballycastle on the north coast of Ireland. He has twice been shortlisted for the Seamus Heaney Poetry Award; in 2018 for his poem “Mercy Killing” and in 2020 for “Lichen”. Jimmy Kerr

Jimmy Kerr is a writer/performer. His internationally produced play Ardnaglass on the Air was staged at the Lyric, Belfast in 2017 and had a subsequent regional tour. He has performed, produced work in the Origins 1st-Irish festival in NY on four separate occasions, and is the recipient of the Origin Award for Special Achievement. During his time in Edinburgh, Kerr collaborated with the Edinburgh International Science festival on their touring show Day or Night. Marc’s a recent quinquagenenarian, has self published one poetry book called ‘Out of Darkness,’ and lives on the North Antrim Coast with his wife and three children, and new addition grandaughter. Writing for personal reasons, expanded to therapeutic and then pleasure. Rathlin  Silence permeates souls,briefly.Guillemots and gannets harmonising with the sea,share songs on the breeze.Irish hares spar,amidst baying livestock.All framed between flashing guardians. Mirroring the ocean,clouds travel as languid waves,unleashing shade or rain below.When permitted,the sun returns and dries the land,and those thereon.
