Well everyone… I made it through 98 days in hospital. Had my transplant and got home… for 3 days. Then all manner of things went wrong and I find myself back in Papworth once more.
A heart surrounded by fluid, a bmp of 170 that needed me to be sedated and shocked back to normal, followed by my current lovely helping of Covid. I am therefore equally grateful to all these wonderful writers who submitted their work to me and provided such a welcome distraction.
We made it on time for this issue too. I will admit by the skin of my teeth and thanks to all the spare midnight oil that the fantastic nurses could find for me.
