It’s not the clothes that bring up sadness

When the rain of beasts punishes me
it's March has begun
I don't like the rhododendron singing in the hinterland
then learn to climb through the silences

I don't want to put makeup on myself
like a plasterer on an old lime wall
Time can take away everything
and the date of freckles on the colored dresses

Yesterday
The chest of the field has unbuttoned the button flowers
as if there was going to be a hot windy season
as if on a dying water
The silent dust is starting to take root

Then let the grass grow long across the alley
It's not the clothes that bring up the sadness.

Có phải áo quần đâu mà lên lai nỗi buồn

Khi cơn mưa thú phạt vào mình 
là tháng ba đã bắt đầu dạm ngõ
không thích con chim quyên hót trên lùm bóng gió 
thì học nhãn lồng trèo qua những lặng thinh

Em không muốn son phấn lại mình
như người thợ trát lên tường vôi cũ
thời gian có thể làm nám đi mọi thứ
và ngày tháng tàn nhang lên những chiếc váy màu

Hôm qua
bờ ngực ruộng đã cởi những bông hoa cúc áo 
như thể sắp có một mùa gió nực
như thể trên ngọn nước đang tàn
hạt bụi lặng im đang bắt đầu ra rễ

Thì cứ để cỏ may mọc dài qua ngõ
chứ phải áo quần đâu mà lên lai được nỗi buồn.
